Noise!

Modern units have changed from the noisey machines they used to be. The Mitsubishi unit in the picture is one of my favourites. They run quietly at around 47dB for the outdoor unit and in 'quiet mode' the indoor unit runs at below 21dB. Which is about as much noise as you make when you whisper......Shhhhhh.

Style

Not all AC units come in white! Although white suits many rooms and houses, these stylish and sleek 'Artcool' units from LG are a real statement for the room. A dark silvery grey with a mirrored finish matches well with the modern styles of home offices or gyms.

Energy Efficiency

Air Con systems could cut your heating bills by as much as a third! AC units produce 3kw of heat for every 1 kw of electricity that it uses. Normal electric heaters and central heating systems produce heat on a 1 to 1 basis. Meaning 1kw of heat for every 1kw of energy used. Pretty impressive stuff from the AC units if you ask me.

Discreet

AC units don't have to be on proud display as a statement of the room. These discreet Floor mounted units could be mistaken for small radiators. Only much more stylish and adaptable. (Plus way more energy efficient!)
